I don't know how many times I've uttered this sentence to my husband: "The only thing I want time to do this weekend on my own is go running." That's when the negotiations begin. The result is usually that I can run in the morning while he watches Max, our 20-month-old, if I cover the afternoon shift. A big part of me realizes the gucci shoes ridiculousness of this. I mean, this is a kid I love dearly and look forward to spending time with! But that doesn't mean all other plans disappear. It's taken more than a year to strike the right balance in these negotiations. I have to realize that I can't have everything, and my husband has to realize that even though he is the primary caregiver during the week while I'm working, weekends aren't a completely free pass for him. For all of coach store its positive attributes (and there are many), running has one downside for busy moms: It takes time. True, you can run with a baby jogger. But what if it's too cold outside to take coach handbags the baby along? Or what if there are no sidewalks where you live and it feels dangerous to run in the street with a jogger? Or what if there are just gucci handbags too many insane hills and you cannot possibly push the jogger up the mountain one more time? A baby jogger is not really a catchall solution. You can get babysitters or use the babysitting service at the gym. These things are all good—and I do them. But they don't change the fact that running is a big part of who you are, a part that is separate from that little kiddy of yours and that gucci sale you need some time and space for.
