Hi Ken.

Awesome. My fave things:

the driver's mirror reflection

the headlight bulb, the way you can see through the tip of it on the driver's side

cool tinted windows

great front rim.

front chev logo - tough at that angle, you pulled it off!

cool front bumper

Some things I'd tweak:

the front and rear fenders have very different types of highlights, when the lighting should be the same on the same color of paint.

some kind of shadow under the top side step, to match the darkness under the vehicle - kind of like a dark from top to lighter below, the opposite of how it is now.

wipers? :-)

I'm curious to see some kind of "perspective gravel" or asphalt under some of the pics, that the chrome & the bumper would also reflect. Nothing really detailed, but kind of a textured flooring.

Amazing work, it's a thrill to see your stuff!

What I really enjoyed was the reflections in the chrome bumper, headlight rim and side mirror. And the best of all, the reflections are of the same building in front of the car! Really something...

Thanks guy's for all the cool things you've said.

Jeff: Thanks for the your insight.
I hear ya, I just get to a point that I starting to over think.
I forgot the turn signals and as you mentioned the wipers.
I suck at backgrounds so I will look to see if I can find some cool gravel or rough concrete to create a nice textured BG.

Alex: Glad the chrome stuck out for you.
Wish I could take the credit for it, I just drew what I saw. It was a great image.

Fluid (Richard): Yea it has an Art Deco feel.
Thanks for all the encouragement.

ASIM: Glad you like.
The head lights actually have a glass dome over the whole lens.

Stephen: Thanks for the nice words.
As for artwork, I hate bingo and can't dance worth a darn
Yes, I have a wife but I do the fun artwork in between jobs as a break.
She thinks that I'm hard at work on her stuff. Don't tell her. hehehe
It's time for you to post that car you've been working on.
As for me you're right I take on an average 10 hours to complete a vehicle.
I'm not sure of the time the others spend, the cool thing is sharing new ways to create objects. Richard, Jeff, you and most everyone is better with Corel than I am, I just beat it until it submits.

Thanks again all for the critiques they really are appreciated.

Hi Stetro,

Yeah, I agree with you... these cars can sure take time! Fluid seems fairly prolific at crankin' them out though...

I'm working on the New Dodge Charger for my own amusement, it'll probably take about 10 hours like Ken suggests. I guess you can't really worry about the time it takes. It's done when it's done. :-)

The guys here have inspired me to give it a shot. I'm not a big car enthusiast, but so many people have posted them here that I (and you) have to try. :-)

It can be tedious making these, even for experienced Draw users. BUT.. at least it's possible! :-) I find that you can throw on some tunes, and just keep going until exhaustion. B 4 U know it, 5 hours has passed, and you're half done. I'm looking forward to printing mine at 12x18 and seeing the power and clarity of vector artwork in all it's glory.

How many images do we see coming from Illustrator users like these? Practically NONE that I know about.

Ken, you must be very skilled to pull off your work. Another thing I'd like to add... like Stetro, you add nice environments, borders and lettering to your pics to help sell them, rather than the vehicles only in a stark space.

There is not much to criticize here, if anything. I enjoy the way you framed
this masterpiece. Now when I post my first all vector (next year) I'll be very happy. Superb rendering

President Obama says the housing market is healing nike free run billig from the housing crisis of 2007 and 2008, and he is encouraging citizens to contact their representatives and urge them to take action when they return from their break in November. In the Republican address, congressional candidate Vernon Parker of Arizona pushed repealing Obama’s health nike free sko care law and touted his party’s plan for creating jobs. Parker also advocated reforming the tax code, saying the Obama administration’s economic policies have made it difficult for small businesses to add new jobs. President Obama and Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney face off Wednesday nike run sko in the first of three debates ahead of elections on November 6. U.S. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was campaigning in the battleground state of Pennsylvania Friday as news that President Barack Obama had presided over net job growth derailed one of the Republican billige nike sko candidate's key talking points. The former Massachusetts governor has repeatedly criticized Obama's handling of the economy, claiming the nation has lost hundreds of thousands of jobs since the president took office. But revised figures Friday from the Labor Department mean Romney can no longer nike sko free make that argument. While nearly 13 million workers are unemployed in the country, the new numbers indicate U.S. employers added almost 400,000 more jobs during the 12 months ending in March than previously estimated. That means the overall number of jobs billige nike free in the U.S. labor market is now 125,000 higher than in January 2009 when President Obama came into office, and that the jobs created under Obama offset those lost during his term. For Romney, the news comes after an already tough couple of weeks for his campaign. The Republican candidate's nike free norge standing has fallen since a video surfaced earlier this month showing him telling wealthy supporters that 47 percent of Americans pay no taxes and consider themselves victims entitled to government support. Recent polls show President Obama with a significant lead over free run sko his Republican challenger in Pennsylvania and many of the other so-called swing states expected to decide the November 6 election. The assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute says the presidential debates, which start next week, may be Romney's best chance to reverse the trend in his favor. The Republican nike free run dame candidate will spend time this weekend preparing for the first of the three debates - scheduled to take place next Wednesday in Denver, the capital of the western state of Colorado. Romney is also holding a fundraiser in Boston, the capital of his home state billige nike free run of Massachusetts. President Obama, meanwhile, will also focus on raising money Friday with his own fundraising events in Washington, D.C. and will begin debate practice sessions in Nevada on Sunday. Chicago corn, wheat and soybean futures all sharply rose Friday after the U.S. Department nike free run norge of Agriculture (USDA)'s Quarterly Grain Stocks report paved the way for bullish levels for corn and wheat, and trader enthusiasm also extended to the soybean market.CF
