This is a bit of one of the printed samples for an internal University-communication campaign. After developing the concept, I drew the sphere and the compass in Draw 8. When the images were almost finished, I added to them a little bit of plug-in embellishing (with Flaming Pear and PP standard plug-ins). I re-imported the modified files into Draw. The bckgrd texture is a combination of standard Draw textures/transparencies. Some text was used to add texture (it was the Schooner Script font). Title text was Umbra and the general texts (not shown) were done in Gill Sans.

Really nicely done. I like the color gammut and an "old treasure map" kind of look.

Hi Mosh,

I gave you a 10 because;

It looks really good now, but with the other missing text I know it would be complete.

This was done in Draw/PP 8, the system you probably had at the time was pushed to the limits to create this.

Alex

Thanks, I really liked it when it was finished. And the nicest part was to see it printed later on.

Jeff: Th"missing text" I mentioned were not shown here, because this image was just a part of a whole graphic campaign. Those text were used in brochures: this was only the cover of a folder.

Thanks for your commments!
-Mosh
