The wine glass was done with the mesh tool and with transparency. I scanned in the roses, dropping out the background in PhotoPaint with the CutOut Lab. Outside of that and a wee bit of color correction on the bitmap for export, all was done in DRAW.

The roses are made of Balsa Wood, each petal is a shaving. The glass is out of my head. And the wine makes up for my lack of complaining, (have to get it out of me sometimes!!!)

So I made my own Mother's Day card, but that's okay, I've got a MAC on order.

The wine glass appears to be dingy/dirty. I know you were trying to add that frosty
look with condensation drops from the chilled wine, but that's the way I see it
from here.

Very nice artwork!

People like wine glasses aren't props on a Hollywood set, my dishwasher leaves spots. Perhaps because I am not perfect. Thank God, people who are perfect are insufferable. I have dust in my house because I draw and paint. You perfect, Mr. Bill?

Eeeeeek! Methinks I unintentionally angered someone

It was not my intention to do that.

My wife says not even close. I agree with her, but I love to
have my work critiqued and do the same for other artists here
in this forum. I don't candy coat these days, and I'm sure I sound
like an old grouch.

btw - How do I find the tutorial on Foster's web site for your
post barbed or was it barbed )

Thank you, young lady.

Mr. Bill's has dust, too. Mostly on his brain.
